I've officially looked at one other teacher's blog tonight...so I doubt I have a valid sample size. I found this one and immediately found a student video that features machine guns and missiles as two theories for the extinction of dinosaurs:

Needless today, I think I've found inspiration for having students do videos and for having a public forum to post creative student work.
That video is simply marvelous. I love the teacher's comment, "the science might be a bit off but it makes me laugh."
ReplyDeleteStudent generated content would be a fabulous way to work technology into your teaching while truly engaging students in their work. Those kids will probably never forget the possible reasons for mass extinctions, plus a few not-so-likely reasons.
I agree...my favorite part is the machine guns...held by robots...
